A streak of Sword Light came to a halt.
Lin Yao, still bearing traces of shyness on her face that had yet to fade, flew out from the Sword Light and politely bowed to Xia Daoyun, who had ferried her back on his sword, "Thank you for the trouble, Peak Master of Sword Coming Peak."
Xia Daoyun waved his hand dismissively, and after delivering Lin Yao back to Heavenly Secret Pavilion, he decisively turned and left.
Lin Yao stood quietly for a while, watching Xia Daoyun's figure disappear from her sight before flying toward Lotus Peak.
Upon barely entering Lotus Peak, she saw the Shui Yue Pavilion Master standing quietly in a pavilion, as if she had been waiting for her for a long time.
"Master," Lin Yao stepped forward and greeted respectfully.
"Has he left?" the Shui Yue Pavilion Master asked.
Though the name was not mentioned directly, it was evident who she referred to.
Lin Yao nodded slightly.
