Hearing the captain's words seemed to invigorate Duo Lin, who smiled at the captain before walking out of the warehouse that had been converted into an office. No sooner had he stepped out than he bumped into a black man coming towards him.
"Lance, are you going in?"
"Yes, I'm starving!"
The black man briefly replied to Duo Lin and then rushed into the warehouse.
"I haven't finished speaking, I need to remind you that there's nothing left to eat inside…"
Duo Lin hurriedly called out to Lance's retreating figure, but he wasn't sure if the other man had heard him. He dashed into the warehouse, and the next second, he heard the captain greeting him.
"Hey, Lance!"
"Captain? Why are you here... No, no! I desperately need food! Food! Food!"
