Although he only half understood what the second wanderer said, Tang Ye still nodded his head as if to reply to the man. As he was about to descend the stairs to leave, the man called out to him.
"I have something for you that you'll find useful."
Having said that, Wanderer No. 2 ducked into a room that had been half blown open by a shell. After a burst of rummaging sounds, he reemerged with an additional object in his hand.
Upon closer inspection by Tang Ye, it was a flashlight. He revealed a smile as a gesture of appreciation. Although he didn't have a use for the item given by the stranger, he accepted the kindness. He patted himself down and, intending to reciprocate, pulled out the remaining sausages.
"This is all I have left... as a token of gratitude. I hope you understand these words."
