Before extending an invitation to Ling Kang and Qi Qi, Fang Mu had already sought the opinions of Shu Liangjun and Lian Dai.
Just as when Lian Dai initially expressed her desire to become Fang Mu's Protector, Fang Mu did not immediately agree but first consulted Shu Liangjun as well.
This was the most basic respect one could show for one's Protector!
As for Fang Mu's intention to invite Qi Qi and Ling Kang to become his Protectors, both Shu Liangjun and Lian Dai were highly supportive.
In the Beastmaster World, there were no rules specifying how many Protectors one could have, and it was actually rare for the younger generation to even have Protectors at all.
Only Order Strong individuals could use their Souls to issue Protector oaths. Not every faction necessarily had experts of this level.
Moreover, even if a faction had such Order-level experts, they were usually revered and rarely tasked with active duties.
