Though Cain desired to absorb all those he had slain during this rampage, he couldn't afford to pause even for a second; a single moment of distraction would have been enough for him to be overwhelmed by the legion of Prima Deities.
Nonetheless, the Star Man was different. He was a key figure whose power and hidden background made it essential for Cain to integrate him completely into the Scarlet Throne. The Star Man's mysterious origin and goals meant that Cain needed answers quickly, and the throne would provide them.
