"It doesn't matter why," Cain thought coldly. "What matters is that mere words won't suffice now."
Cain's gaze shifted between the two formidable Peak Prima Deities standing to his left and right. Even if his plan had been flawlessly executed, even if no evidence existed that could directly implicate him, it was clear they intended to declare him guilty regardless.
