Chapter 554 - Learning Kamehameha

Since there wasn't the speed of the Flying Nimbus, it took almost half a day to return on the jet. Looking at this frail and thin old man, Bulma, Oolong, and Yamcha, who was hidden on the side, couldn't imagine this was the legendary Master Roshi.

"Old age isn't easy; Goku, give me a push." Even though they hadn't encountered Umigame, knowing that this Kid was the grandson of Granpa Gohan, Roshi gave Goku the Flying Nimbus as a gift.

"Sure!" Goku pushed too hard, nearly making the barely balanced Roshi fall down. "Don't use so much force."

"I have no choice. Kamehameha!" Roshi formed a cupped hand gesture at his waist, gathering blue energy in his palms, creating a blue energy ball that burst out with astonishing brilliance. The power system in the Dragon Ball world was many times greater than that of the Naruto world. Roshi's full-powered Kamehameha had the power to destroy the moon, an unbelievable display of power.

The dazzling light, accompanying the launch of the Kamehameha, directly destroyed the flaming castle. Besides Ryoha and Bulma, who had experienced such power in the Naruto world and weren't surprised, everyone else had their mouths agape.

"Wow, Master, can you teach me that move?" Goku jumped up excitedly. After seeing the Kamehameha, he felt like a door had opened for him.

"Haha, Goku, it takes at least fifty years of practice to master the Kamehameha." With Saiyan blood and continuous training, Ryoha's latent potential had begun to gradually show itself. His Saiyan learning abilities in Ki were also emerging.

In the past, if Ryoha had seen the Kamehameha, it would have taken quite some time to learn it. But now, after seeing it, Ryoha experienced a moment of enlightenment, just like Goku, feeling that a door had opened for himself. However, he knew a bit more than Goku; this door was the door of Ki.

"Kamehameha!" Ryoha's voice immediately drew everyone's attention. Watching his movements, everyone except Bulma showed surprise as Ryoha launched a Kamehameha at a car, instantly destroying it.

"The first time is barely passable!" Ryoha complained exasperatingly. Roshi was almost infuriated by this; his ultimate technique honed over fifty years was learned in an instant by this guy, who even said it was barely passable. What came next was Goku also using the Kamehameha, further frustrating Roshi. Indeed, getting old; the young people nowadays were too talented.

"Is this Ki?" Ryoha just sensed a flow of energy within him. However, his Ki was still relatively weak, and lacking in-depth knowledge about Ki, the feeling was fleeting and he couldn't fully grasp it. Nevertheless, Ryoha had found a method. As he continued to train and increased his combat power, his Ki would also increase, making it easier to comprehend.

"Goku, and you, young man, would you be interested in learning from me?" Roshi also felt a sense of nurturing talent.

"Sure! But I'll come after I've collected the Dragon Balls." Goku agreed without hesitation.

"No way!" Ryoha's refusal left Yamcha feeling depressed. "You're too proud. This is Master Roshi's invitation. Many dream of this opportunity."

"Oh? Young man, do you know how many people would break their heads just to become my disciple? And you're rejecting like this?" Master Roshi was somewhat surprised.

"Everyone has their destiny, their own path to walk. I don't need to force myself down a path I don't like. It's more interesting for me to pursue the path of strength on my own, to learn from failures and mistakes continuously." Ryoha's words made Master Roshi laugh heartily, praising Ryoha for his incredible wisdom.

This guy, aside from his flirtatious nature, excelled in every aspect. As a teacher, he would stand in the forefront to protect his students. As a warrior, he would step up in times of danger. When Earth was threatened, he would sacrifice himself. Truly, he was not just a great teacher but also a hero.

"Young man, you speak quite well. I won't insist anymore. I actually think the same way. But I hope to lay a more solid foundation for Goku so that he can go further on his path in the future. I didn't expect you to see so far ahead." Master Roshi chuckled as he left.

"You're giving up just like that? According to what you said, he would have been an invincible boss in the early stages." Bulma approached and whispered.

"I know his training methods. I don't want to be a man who only cares about fighting and training, neglecting family. My dear Bulma has sacrificed so much for me. Of course, I want to be with her. Moreover, the West City Tournament is approaching. How can I not be with you?" Ryoha's words made Bulma feel incredibly sweet, disregarding the people around them, she affectionately kissed Ryoha. After all, they were an old married couple.

After finding the Dragon Ball in the ruins, Ryoha and his team set off for the location of the final Dragon Ball. However, on the way, they encountered a man and a cat!

"Hello, we meet again," Yamcha said in a rather melancholic tone.

"I remember now. Weren't you the one trying to rob us but got thrashed by Ryoha and ran away?" Bulma recollected, finally remembering this character.

Bulma's words left Ryoha laughing hysterically, while Oolong laughed like a lunatic. Yamcha was left dumbfounded. He had calculated and considered numerous scenarios, even expecting to be chased away again, but he hadn't accounted for this.

"Why are you here?" Goku remembered this guy had decent strength. Last time he didn't get to fight with him, feeling a bit regretful. This time, he was ready for action, wielding the Power Pole. Seeing Goku getting ready for a fight, Yamcha hastily waved his hands, indicating he meant no harm.

"Actually, Puar and I have changed our ways. We heard you were looking for Dragon Balls, so we decided to help." This lame lie was obvious to everyone except Goku. However, Ryoha just smiled and didn't expose him. This guy was a decent helper in the early stages and wasn't all that bad at heart. Living and fighting alongside someone like Goku, who had a pure heart and was as innocent as a child, was very influential.
