At the moment the cover was lifted, a bright white light hit her, forcing her to blink uncomfortably.
Her long, curled lashes fluttered up and down, and only after a while did she adjust to the light.
When she saw the scene before her, confusion flickered in Qiao Yun's dark, clear eyes. She turned to Li Hanzhou behind her, silently asking him with her gaze.
What is this?
Li Hanzhou had his suit jacket draped over his arm, the top buttons of his white shirt undone, revealing hints of his delicate collarbones. Seeing Qiao Yun's glance, his eyes curved upward, carrying a faintly seductive charm.
"I told you, I'm taking you home."
Qiao Yun froze briefly, then reacted, her voice carrying a hint of hesitation and disbelief: "This is a home?"
She scanned her surroundings once more with her eyes.
This was an exceptionally large modern villa, with an open skylight on the roof allowing the bright moonlight to pour in.
