"Six years ago, it was Alexander Quentin who bribed people to hurt Miss Quinn."
A glint flashed through Howard Geoffrey's unfathomable eyes. The momentary flare of anger vanished, replaced by a profound calm.
Jason Wood was very excited. After investigating for six whole years, he had finally traced this matter today.
Geoffrey put down the report in his hand, leaned back in his chair, half-squinted his eyes at Jason, his expression slightly gloomier than usual.
"Alexander was truly ruthless... Six years ago, he spent fifty million dollars to hire three Singaporean men to harm Miss Quinn. If one of the assailants hadn't inadvertently mentioned this during a recent drug deal with an American dealer, we might never have linked Alexander Quentin to the people who hurt Miss Quinn. This morning, I arrested the other two and interrogated them. They confirmed that everything they did was on Alexander Quentin's orders, for money."
