The pain seemed never-ending. Alex felt like he was caught in an endless cycle of agony. His entire body was being torn apart and rebuilt over and over. Each time he thought the pain couldn't get worse, it did.
He was exhausted. Every muscle screamed in pain, and every bone felt like it was being crushed. His skin felt like it was on fire, and his insides felt like they were being twisted and squeezed. He couldn't catch his breath, and his heart pounded so hard it felt like it might burst.
Despite the overwhelming pain, a small part of Alex's mind remained aware. He knew he had to endure, no matter how much it hurt. He knew that if he could survive this, he would become stronger. This thought gave him a small spark of hope.
His body continued to twitch and convulse uncontrollably. He felt like he was being pulled apart from the inside out, and yet, at the same time, he felt a strange sense of growth. It was as if his body was being broken down to be rebuilt better and stronger.
