The aftermath of the battle with Frieza left the planet eerily quiet. With Porunga's wish having restored the lives lost and healed the injured, the Namekian villages began to rebuild, though the scars of war still lingered in the air.
The Grand Elder, seated upon his great throne surrounded by his most trusted warriors, knew his time was nearing its end. His body, ancient and burdened by centuries of wisdom and guidance, was growing weaker.
Grand Elder (softly): "The time has come. My duty is fulfilled… and it is time for Namek to heal, to grow anew."
Dende stood by his side, holding back tears. Nail knelt, showing respect to the one who had guided their people for generations.
The Z Fighters gathered as the Grand Elder summoned them for one last meeting.
Grand Elder (smiling warmly): "Warriors from Earth… You have our deepest gratitude. Namek lives because of your bravery."
Goku (bowing respectfully): "It was an honor to fight for your people, Grand Elder."
Piccolo (solemnly): "We'll make sure your people stay safe. Frieza won't threaten anyone ever again."
The Grand Elder placed a hand on Gohan's shoulder.
Grand Elder: "You… young one… carry immense potential. I am glad I could help unlock it before the end."
Moments later, the Grand Elder's breathing slowed. He smiled at the horizon, the suns setting gently over the recovering plains of Namek.
With a final breath, he passed peacefully.
A silence fell across everyone.
Dende (softly): "He's gone…"
Later that evening, the Earth warriors prepared for their return. Nail had repaired their ship with the help of Namekian engineers. It now held new upgrades and enhanced systems to allow for smoother travels.
As they loaded supplies, Vegeta and Nappa approached Goku.
Vegeta (arms crossed): "I'm coming with you. There are questions I need answered. About the Super Saiyan. About what you've become."
Nappa (smirking): "Count me in too. No way I'm missing this."
Goku expecting this
Goku (raising an eyebrow): "You two sure you want to come to Earth? After everything?"
Raditz (interjecting sternly): "You two better behave. Earth isn't your playground, and we've already got plenty of warriors that can deal with you now. Don't test them."
Vegeta (scoffing): "I don't take orders from the likes of you. But I'm not here to conquer. Not anymore."
Nappa (shrugging): "We've seen what your planet's got. We'll keep to ourselves... for now."
Yamcha (from the ship, arms crossed): "They step out of line, we drop them. Simple."
Gohan (to Goku, worried): "Do you think we can trust them, Dad?"
Goku (smiling): "Let's give them a chance. People can change."
With everyone aboard, the ship lifted off. From above, Namek glowed under its twin suns, peaceful once more. As the stars passed by their windows, a new chapter began for Earth's mightiest heroes—and their unlikely new allies.
The ship descended through Earth's atmosphere like a comet. After their long journey, the familiar blue skies and lush greenery welcomed the warriors home. As the ship landed near Capsule Corp, a crowd had already gathered in anticipation.
Chi-Chi stood front and center, arms folded and eyes searching for her husband and son.
Bulma tapped her foot anxiously, her eyes scanning the Saiyan ship as the hatch hissed open.
One by one, the warriors stepped out.
Gohan (rushing out):"Mom!"
Chi-Chi's stern expression melted as Gohan ran into her arms.
Chi-Chi (tearing up):"You've grown… and you're safe…"She then turned toward Goku, punching him lightly in the chest.Chi-Chi:"And you! You better not disappear like that again!"
Goku (chuckling nervously):"Aw, c'mon, Chi-Chi… I missed you too."
She embraced him tightly, their family whole again.
Bulma soon stepped forward, and her gaze locked onto Vegeta, who stood confidently behind the group with arms crossed and his usual scowl in place. Her eyes widened just a little.
Bulma (murmuring):"Well hello, tall, dark, and brooding…"
Yamcha (approaching from the side):"Hey, Bulma!"But she didn't respond. Instead, she moved directly toward Vegeta.
Bulma (grinning):"So you're the Prince of all Saiyans, huh? You're lucky I'm in a generous mood. Why don't you come stay at Capsule Corp?"
Vegeta (raising a brow):"And why would I need your hospitality, woman?"
Bulma:"Because I'm the only one here who could give you your own gravity chamber… and decent food."She winked.Bulma (smirking):"Unless you'd rather sleep under a tree like your bald friend over there."
Yamcha (fuming):"Seriously?!"
Yamcha now regretting ever getting caught texting other women.
Vegeta grunted, but said nothing. He looked away, clearly considering it.
Meanwhile, Raditz nudged Nappa, who stood awkwardly off to the side speechless.
Raditz:"Come stay with me for now. I've got space near the mountains. Less noise, more meat."
Nappa (grinning):"Now that sounds like a proper homecoming."
The scene shifted as Master Roshi waddled toward the group, his eyes gleaming with pride beneath his shades.
Master Roshi:"I'm glad were back. Now to catch up on some reading."
Krillin (smiling):"Easy there old man."
Later that evening, the Son family enjoyed a quiet dinner at their home near Mount Paozu.
Gohan:"The stars look different, don't they?"
Chi-Chi:"Everything's the same here, sweetheart. It's just your heart that changed."
Goku (placing a hand on Gohan's head):"You did amazing out there. I'm proud of you."
They sat together under the moonlight, for the first time in weeks with no threats, no training, no enemies—just peace.
But in the distance, Vegeta stood atop Capsule Corp's gravity chamber, gazing into the night sky with a determined scowl.
Vegeta (gritting his teeth):"Kakarot… I'll surpass you. Super Saiyan or not."
From a nearby hill, Nappa and Raditz were sharing a roasted boar, the fire crackling between them.
Nappa (chomping):"Not bad for Earth meat. Think we'll like it here?"
Raditz:"Just don't blow anything up."
And somewhere above, far in the reaches of space, darker eyes watched the Earth with interest…
