It is a method to obliterate all the opposing forces, as many as possible, in one swift move. This is done not only to avoid any unnecessary factors beyond control from affecting the game laid down by the Republic of Venice, but also to catch the Romans, French, and Spanish off guard so as to give them not enough time to react.
