Too many people had cried before her eyes. She didn't want to see any other, especially another child.
"Look at me, Cynthia." He went down on his right knee, taking her hands into his. Her palms felt small in his hands, and dainty too. He could feel how slight her body was and how it trembled ever so subtly. The boy's gaze softened towards, his deep gliterring azure eyes melted into her emerald orbs, flipping through her thoughts just like the pages of a novel. She was a broken child, one overcome by so much grief unjustly inflicted upon her by the world.
"Let it out, Cynthja." He spoke, softly, "Let the tears you've held back for so long flow out of you."
Words couldn't proceed from her mouth. In it's absence, she burst into a dam of tears.
