Chapter 91 - Chapter 86: Our Father Beyond The Grave

'You see, a few years ago, I lost sight of what it meant to be a father.'

The winter was terrible and harsh. The cold, freezing wind bit his fingertips violently, and his skin was red as the breeze slapped against it bitterly. Transparent eyes were bloodshot due to the winter particles, ears bleeding as bits of ice scraped past them. He was in no shape to be out here in the cold, in this godforsaken weather.

But somehow, he was unbothered and did not care in the slightest. He continued to move up the snowy slope of the hill, with nothing but a white kimono and a black coat over his body, without slippers or any form of footwear.

A form of punishment one might say, but more than that, it was retribution to pay for his sins. Physical retribution, as well as spiritual. Cold icy shards pierced and scratched his face, drawing blood from him, but he still did not feel a thing, adrenaline and numbness mixing together, giving him a state of indifference that was inhuman.

He walked.
