Ambassador Sunne couldn't oppose Khan's words. He didn't even take offense. The Prince hadn't spoken out of arrogance or entitlement. He was too above the Ambassador on so many levels that the latter couldn't suffice as his escort. Few people in the world could do so at that point.
Khan, and Garret, for that matter, had predicted that the human space station would suffer from his arrival. So, the forces on Coravis sent the ship's reinforced room next, which Khan immediately entered to shield his surroundings from his presence.
Being sealed in such a cramped room when a whole space station was available wasn't ideal, but Khan accepted that compromise with the help of the booze that Ambassador Sunne willingly provided.
