The moment Drake was about to catch the sorceress, he saw her disappear through a strange door that appeared out of nowhere, a Dimensional Gate created by a powerful magician. Not only did it bring her somewhere else, but it was about to close.
Using all his strength, he attempted to stop the door from closing, extending his claws forward, only a second from reaching his destination. As he gazed past the door, he saw the sorceress on the floor, gasping for air as she watched with horror at him approaching her.
"It's a Dimensional Gate, if I can extend my claw there and open it, I can get inside and see for myself what the hell is that place!"
