The End King moved with much intent, thundering through the forest with speed to match his strength, upon arriving at Villa Umbris, the King began to scour the homes, kicking in doors, ransacking homes, until finally Grayson was within view. He was speaking to a crowd.
The King thundered through, frightening the villagers.
"YOU." Glosys rumbled at Grayson.
As the crowd scattered,Grayson draws his sword,"Part of me was wondering when you'd come looking for me-"
Before Grayson's comment could be finished the End King lunged at Grayson, grabbing him by the jaw and slamming him into a building behind him.
"What am I?" He asked.
Grayson attempted to kick the King away, pushing him away enough to force the Giant to stumble and allow a window of escape.
Though before he could get far,Grayson was kicked in the back, and forced to the ground to face the king. He straddled his counterpart, engaging a light choke. "I will not ask again. What. Am. I?"
"Y-Youre a clone! You're using my favorite arm you j-jackass!" Grayson managed to get out,as the king began to press his weight down on Grayson, like he did with Kupa.
Grayson's face began to take on a shade of red as he was essentially strangled by a much more powerful variant of himself. His world was beginning to go dark, when he saw a dark orb flying through the sky,and hitting the king in the back of the head.
A distant roar quickly became close, and an Iron blade was driven through the End King's chest.
Behind the king, was not Alex, but Kupa. Unfazed, the king released a now unconscious Grayson, and Kupa stumbled backward to prevent injury to herself,as the king approached.
He reached behind himself, pulling the sword with a pained grunt, and some blood beginning to well in his mouth.
The wound Kupa inflicted quickly healed..
The king licks his own blood off the blade...
"Ive seen enough."
He teleports back to the End,leaving Kupa to her devices.
"Grayson?! Grayson grayson oh gods pleease dont be dead-" Kupa cried out as she quickly ran to Grayson.
She put his mouth to her ear,and a gentle breath emitted, allowing Kupa to breathe a sigh of relief..
Though now was no time to relax...
*IN THE END*
As Glosys returned from his assault,Gladya was already waiting in the throne room. "Where have you been? Why does it look like you were wounded?" Gladya asked, her fingers intertwined in a thoughtful way, emphasizing her glowing eyes..
"I fought the Boy. He is but a small pup fighting a wolf's war. Though his lackey, the Greencoat, managed to surprise me somehow. He is recovering as we speak." The End King said.
"WHY didn't you kill the boy? You could have ended this war!!" Gladya growls.
"Because I want a fair fight. Not a massacre." Glosys said smoothly.
"Fair fight? FAIR FIGHT?! I REBIRTHED YOU TO KILL THAT MAN NOT HAVE A FAIR FUCKING FIGHT!!" Gladya growls as she gets up and approches the king.
"NOW he expects us. So fine. You wanted a fair fight? You've got one. Good for you. I expect you to kill the boy the next chance you get." Gladya said.
"One last thing,my queen." Glosys requested.
"What is it?"
"You said I was your husband. The boy told me I was his clone. Is this true?" Glosys asked.
It seemed the detail could hide no longer. "....Yes you are the Boy's clone. I made you to be his equal. To destroy him and lead my people where I cannot."
Glosys simply nods,and dismisses himself.
He looks to his arm,and sighs. He was but a tool in this horrible war. All he could do was comply,or do his own thing.
Damn magic...
*IN THE OVERWORLD*
Grayson finally started to come to,after about an hour of laying in darkness. Kupa and Alex were waiting, and a heavy aura hung on the air.
"What..happened..?" Grayson asked, his voice slightly rasped and sore.
"The End King attacked you. Could've killed you were it not for me." Kupa said as she took his hand tightly.
"We must seek magical help yet again. This time,we need to put you IN the body of a miner,so you have a chance. You've got the skills, and intellect, but simple training is now no longer an option, considering the End King could return to finish what he started." Alex explains, her voice having smoothed out some into a deep, smooth and monotone voice
"W-woah! When did you manage to speak?!" Grayson asked.
"The End King. He broke my wrist interrogating me for your location." Alex said, rubbing the wrist the End King had broken.
"W-well,does that order another trip to Terris Magai?" Grayson asked, seeming a little hopeful.
"Blaire is pretty good, but unfortunately nowhere near as strong as the Witch we would need to literally buff you." Kupa explains.
"We'll have to take you to a witch named Medina. Shes almost as old as Notch himself." Alex said,as Grayson got up in preparation to leave.
"Well? What are we waiting for? Another mad king to try and murder me? Lets go!" Grayson said,as he grabbed his bag and sword.
Alex and Kupa quickly follow,to begin the brief trip to wherever this Madina stayed. For hours they walked, until finally they started treading on significantly softer ground.
"Great...More mud.." Grayson mutters as if the material were his mortal enemy.
"Not a fan of getting stuck in a bog are ya?" Kupa asked.
"Do you not rememeber the hours of me getting smashed into the mud by Serene's guards? At this point it's like a long look into my past." Grayson said,as they came to a 2-story house, overrun with moss, but in surprisingly well-kept condition.
A tall, light skinned, white haired woman exits the home, her eyes shut.
"Alex? Kupa? And a...Mythic Stranger..." She said, turning her head to each. Despite her young look, she sounded like a sweet grandma.
"What brings you sweet hearts out so far from home? You must be tired from all that walking." She said,as she stepped aside to invite her guests in.
Inside, was the befitting theme of a Witch's cottage, though it also contained the many comforts of home. "Sit,please!" She insisted.
Grayson,Kupa and Alex take a seat.
"So uh...Medina,was it..I have a question.." Grayson asked, calling the attentions of the Witch.
"And what would that be,Sweetheart?" Medina asked.
"Not to seem rude...But what were you blinded by?" Grayson asked.
"Well,Sweetheart, back when I was young and the world still had brave souls like yourself,I spoke to a lovely young lady, almost as innocent as you are. She said she wanted to perceive the world through human eyes. Gladis...or Gladya..was her name. We traded eyes when she offered me a beautiful jewel, the most beautiful and rare of jewels. An End Crystal. And so using the crystal's powers, and a little magic,I was able to grant her my too,too human vision,in trade for an Ender's vision. Though her eyes did not work,so I began to use my other senses to explore the world. Never did I think such a double crossing could grant me power no amount of magic could conjure."
"And I assume that's your senses?" Grayson asked,as Medina set a tray of tea down.
"You're a very smart stranger,I must admit. History aside,Alex, you didn't bring this stranger to my doorstep for a chat did you?" Medina asked, turning her head to Alex.
"I...Brought him here, because his life was endangered today..I want him to have the strength to defend himself." Alex spoke, earning a genuine look of surprise from the Witch. It seemed she has never heard Alex's voice yet.
"I can help him, sweet child. It's nice to finally hear your voice." Medina spoke pleasantly, taking Alex's hands into her own tenderly.
"Stranger,I will enchant you for no price, though you must promise me something." She requests, coming to a stand.
"Of course,Miss!" Grayson said with a light, sweet tone.
"Please,Restore balance. No more war..or famine. Do not do anymore than what you have to,but bring peace back into the world." Medina asked.
"I..I promise." Grayson said with a nod.
"Stand,please." Medina asked,warming up a stone spell.
As soon as Grayson stood, the spell was fired, and he was stonified yet again. "History loves repeating itself, doesn't it?" Kupa asked.
"Alas, that is the passage of Eras." Alex agreed as they watched the male be carried upstairs.
