CHAPTER START---
"It seems we were both wrong," All For One says as he gets up, fully healed, mind flickering through his massive inventory of Quirks.
He looks back at Pantu in her prison tube, then focuses his attention on the massive chasm in front of him.
Leading hundreds of meters into the core of the city, where he can sense Deku and Horizon.
Gritting his teeth, All For One merges hundreds of Quirks, pushing his body to the limit and compiling them, pumping them full of energy to trigger fusions and mutations, giving him his best chance at combatting Horizon.
Golden lightning crackles all around his body as his muscles flex and tense, shaking the surrounding ground to dust before he hovers above it, relieving the structure of the constant earthquakes of his muscles twitching.
Hovering forward, he stands between Horizon and Pantu, and the woman's eyes saddened, knowing that no matter what she did, monsters will be monsters.
'All for nothing,' was her only thought before the Villain begins charging energy in his glowing arms, almost blinding her with their immense golden light-show.
All For One uses his enhanced eyesight to see Horizon holding Deku aloft using Takt, speaking to the Hero rather casually, ignoring him.
"I suppose it was inevitable," All For One mutters, believing he has to reach Deku if he wants a path to victory.
All For One raises his hand to launch his attack, the culmination of hundreds of Quirks specifically engineered for this eventuality.
But a second later, his eyes widen as Horizon flicks his blade in his direction.
'What?!' All For One's vision is blocked by a gargantuan blueish-white energy slash that appears a few dozen meters ahead of him.
He instantly shifts strategies, converting the energy from his planned attack into a circular barrier ten feet wide and many meters thick in front of him.
Focusing his entire being on defending against this attack, he puts forth more effort than the previous culmination of his centuries of combat.
Only for it to easily shatter before his very eyes.
He dashes to the side as Horizon's attack catches his right arm and leg, instantly severing them, even through all his Quirks.
He abandons the limbs and crashes through the building, flying above it to get outside.
All For One dares to relax for a moment, believing he'd have a moment to collect his thoughts after Horizon used such an absurd attack.
And for anyone else, he'd be correct.
However, Horizon is a truly transcendent existence.
So All For One regrets that very thought as he looks out to see dozens of identical slashes closing in on him.
He changes his plan yet again, focusing strictly on evading while launching ranged attacks whenever he can, waiting for a chance to reach Deku and gain some hope in this fight.
In the fortress, stuck in her tube, Pantu sees a blinding light as the attacks close in on her, and after all she's done and suffered through.
She doesn't even flinch, knowing what comes next, and is completely, instantly, disintegrated by one of the slashes, putting an end to her story.
Horizon senses this, and to his surprise, feels nothing.
No joy, no sadness, not even relief.
Only, emptiness.
"What are you doing here?" Deku asks while behind held aloft via Takt, both former classmates hovering above the ground while All For One dashes through the sky around them.
Horizon casually sends a slash every few seconds at the Villain, keeping him at bay and intercepting any ranged attack while turning to his friend.
"Me? You're the one who went rogue. You're lucky Juzo figured out your plan and called me," he says while casually keeping All For One at bay.
All while the Villain is desperately trying to find any opening and survive this encounter.
"There was no other way," Deku says. "Either I'd delete his Quirks, or—"
"He'd get cocky enough to fight me. Yeah, we figured that part out, dumbass."
"I didn't think you'd come, especially not to help me."
Horizon turns away from him, focused more on the Villain. "Yeah, well, I blinked and the next thing I know, I'm here."
"I see," Deku smiles. "I'm glad you're here, at least. Now you can just kill him and end this."
"I actually can't kill him."
"What?!" Deku chokes on his spit. "Is he that strong?"
Horizon chuckles while sensing All For One becoming more frantic, like a rat running with its tail on fire.
"Nothing is that strong," Horizon says. "But he had a failsafe in Tartarus, one that would destroy the entire facility if he died. Now it's even stronger, and with New Order…if those Quirks implode, well, they could crater the hemisphere. Everything from Japan to India could potentially be gone, and the planet wouldn't like that either."
"So you would have to take him away first."
"New Order won't let me. Besides, even if I could, the blast would be too large. I can't avoid it."
Deku's heart breaks at that thought, knowing what that means for Horizon.
"I'm not the True Hero type," Horizon says. "I'm more practical. All I need is for him to effectively be unresponsive for a fraction of a second."
Deku nods. "I can make that happen. There is one way to guarantee it."
"I can't guarantee you'll live."
"Don't worry about that. Sacrificing yourself for others is what Heroes do," Deku gives a brilliant smile, not a single tear forming in his eyes.
Horizon shakes his head at the absurdity of it all. "You know, Midoriya, if there is one thing I'm sure All Might did right, it's choosing you as his successor. Now let's go put an end to this Villain…"
Seconds later, All For One notices the frequency of Horizon's attacks slowing, and Deku missing from the battlefield.
"Is he getting tired?" All For One thinks aloud.
"Come find out!" Horizon's voice surprises him from above..
All For One barely moves his hand to guard as Horizon appears above him, striking down with his glowing blue blade.
It makes direct contact with All For One, breaking damn near every bone in his body and launching him down into the crater where Horizon and Deku were previously.
He's healed better than ever before, even crashing into the ground, and instantly springs up to avoid another strike, now fighting with feet on the ground against Horizon.
All For One frantically backs away, narrowly dodging every strike, growing more terrified by the second.
Ever so often, he gets grazed by the blade, and loses immense energy reserves to keep himself conscious and healthy through it.
'Try this!' All For One changes tactics, bombarding Horizon mentally via many telepathy Quirks.
Horizon flinches for a moment, and All For One takes the chance to strike.
Only for Horizon's voice to penetrate his mind. 'Annoying!'
LABOTOMY!
All For One's brain damn near rips itself apart as Horizon copies his brainwaves into him via Telepathy for a fraction of a second, forcing him to process everything within this Room.
Horizon takes this moment to lunge forward, piercing All For One's head with his blade before punching him in the chest.
COUNTER SHOCK!
A massive bolt of lightning erupts from his fist, melting a swathe through the city and sending the Villain tumbling backward.
All For One catches himself while bouncing off the molten earth and hovers to stabilize himself, only to come face to face with Horizon, now wielding his sword in one hand while his left hand if covered in glowing green energy.
All For One raises his right arm and shield to defend himself, but to his horror, Horizon's blade easily cleaves through his defenses and lops off his shoulder.
SHAMBLES!
Horizon appears beside him and palms the wound with his glowing green hand.
GAMMA STRIKE!
The flesh mutates, healing incorrectly as radiation overwhelms it.
All For One dashes backward and ejects the flesh of his shoulder, intent on regrowing the entire limb from scratch.
As he does, Horizon extends his hand and snaps his fingers, pointing in All For One's direction.
ULTRASOUND + PRESSURE!
He shakes the air and amplifies the sound of his finger snap, sending a nuclear blast wave at the villain, tearing his body up and truly testing his healing abilities.
All For One is rag dolled through the dust that once was this region of Kyoto, then, as he's still healing.
He senses it, his opportunity.
He turns around in time to see Deku come flying in with a kick aimed at the back of his skull, and reaches out with his hand.
All For One accepts the kick with his left arm, allowing it to tear apart his limb and shoulder, sparing his head.
And in the same moment reaches out and grabs Deku's head with his right arm that was still lacking the layer of skin, not quite done regenerating from Horizon's last attack.
And with his bloody and battered form, he connects to Deku, and begins transferring One For All.
The process takes one-tenth of a second, rewriting the genetic data of both people and absorbing the stockpiled energy.
He encounters some resistance during this time, due to the properties of One For All and the absurd willpower of this Hero.
But with his full focus and all his Quirks diverted to this task, he's left open for 0.05 seconds.
T-ROOM: Stop!
For just the few feet around Deku and All For One, everything stops.
Within this Temporary Room, Horizon freezes time itself, halting them in this instance, with energy crackling around them both. While their minds are connected, they are unmoving statues.
Even the dust and wind around them is frozen in time, all in a visually distinct translucent blue bubble that's as wide as All For One is tall.
Horizon appears outside the T-ROOM, behind Deku, and sighs.
"Sacrificing yourself for others, that is what Heroes do," he nods, looking at Deku's back. "But, I'm Horizon, I don't give up anything!"
He coats his arm in dense blue energy, using a T-ROOM on himself, and reaches into the frozen pocket of time, pushing more and more energy to the barrier protecting his arm each second as he grabs Deku, extending the energy to fully coat his body in order to move him.
Horizon feels his energy reserves take a massive hit for the first time in months, and hastens his process, pulling Deku out of All For One's frozen grasp and moving him toward the edge of the time-zone.
Each second feels like what a regular person would endure while swimming through wet concrete. His arm and Quirk pushed to their limits as the energy begins diminishing, and his cells are affected by the time-zone.
The sleeve of his Hero Costume begins tearing apart as some pieces are frozen in time while others keep moving, but nearly a minute later.
He rips Deku free of the time-zone, tossing him to the ground behind him.
"Gah!" Deku snaps out of his confusion, feeling a headache like no other, as he immediately tries to stand.
He drops back to his knees before rising to his full height, then decides to sit on the ground and catch his breath.
Horizon also takes a moment to catch his breath, but doesn't waste much time before extending his right hand, palm facing down, and fingers apart.
"R-Room," he says, forming a translucent blue sphere beneath his palm.
Deku looks over at him, for the first time hearing him vocalize this command and give a name to this aspect of Hand Of God.
Horizon holds the sphere forward and extends it in front of them, making a concentric bubble around All For One's time-zone prison before using his second hand to keep it stable.
The process of instilling his second command within this Remote Room takes minutes, as he's never used it on this scale before.
And in that time, Deku gets up and stands behind him, watching curiously as his friend works.
Horizon then places both hands on the Room and begins closing them as if clapping his hands, slowly, like he's wading through syrup.
"R-Room: Cease!" He claps his hands together, and the entire sphere, along with the smaller time-zone sphere within and All For One, disappears.
Deku stumbles forward as the atmosphere and space rush in to close the gap in existence, and Horizon catches him before he falls into the newly formed crater, too exhausted to save himself at the moment.
"Wow, he's really gone," Deku says, staring at the crater.
"Eraser too quickly for his self-destruct to take effect, the only sure way."
"That's good. At least this is over."
"Now to check one last thing," Horizon taps Deku's forehead, doing a full body Scan in that instant.
"Well, how bad is it?"
"The best we could hope for. You still have One For All, and didn't lose any energy reserved."
"That's good, but…?"
Horizon sighs. "But, interrupting the transfer damaged it. You won't get any stronger than you are now, and you can't transfer it anymore. Those components are damaged."
"That's alright, it means I can still make a difference today!"
Horizon chuckles. "Well, have fun with that, mister Hero. I'll be back home watching on the news."
"Or, you could stay and help, just a little while. Cleaning up Japan would be a lot easier with you."
Horizon looks at Deku for a moment, then expands his Room to encompass all of Japan, Korea, and some parts of China, sensing every Villain within it, then simply tosses Deku a communicator.
"Tens of millions of Villains flooded Japan to work under All For One, not to mention the army of Nomu he has here."
Horizon takes his sword and slashes the air, opening a rift to Horizon Tower in Manhattan, where Deku can see visibly pregnant Ryuko preparing dinner while some quiet music plays.
"I'm not needed for something like that, plus, I've just got better things to do," Horizon says while walking toward the rift, back facing Deku. "Besides, you are here, and that will always be enough…"
He steps through the rift and closes it behind him, leaving Deku to his work, amid a nation of Villains.
Deku looks around at the destroyed city, and even at this sight, he smiles.
Because he knows this will be this bad, ever again. Because their generation is in charge now, and they have something beyond any Hero or Villain as their last line of defense.
He pops the communicator into his ear, and it instantly connects to Juzo.
"Mudman," Deku says. "Send everyone to Japan, it's time to get to work…"

As for a Epilogue chapter, I didn't see it as necessary since the surviving character's paths are fairly obvious, but maybe someday I'll do one.
