The arrows struck Gray's armor and bounced off.
The front line of spearmen raised their spears in unison. Gray, riding his horse, charged down from above, piercing through them with sheer force.
Without exception, the spears were all broken instantly. A large number of spearmen fell to the ground, screaming in agony.
"Triple Shield Technique," Tavia whispered.
"Hiss—!"
Like swimming in the vast ocean, Tenidas struggled to push forward through the crowd, crushing shields and spears alike, kicking everyone in his path out of the way.
"Triple Strength Technique," Tavia whispered.
Gray rode his horse, pulling on the reins, swinging the sword in his hand.
He was no longer the naive Lich whose sword would bounce off iron armor. He understood how to dodge skillfully, how to take advantage of his opponent's attacks, and how to strike, cut, thrust, and parry accurately. Utilizing his speed, his swordsmanship far surpassed that of most knights.
