April wasn't surprised by what Rex said.
She already expected this.
All of the things that happened inside the tower were a fantasy, and this is reality.
In reality, Rex has a lot of responsibilities, and she understands that.
But she couldn't contain her chuckle from slipping out, pausing Rex mid-track.
Rex glanced over his shoulder and looked at April in confusion, he wasn't expecting her to chuckle.
"Pardon me," April covered her mouth, trying to contain herself from the unexpected chuckle. "But that is not what I have in mind. I don't want to tag along with you, that's only giving you more burden, and I don't want that."
"Then what do you want to say?" Rex asked, questioning her with his body facing sideways.
April smiled, a meaningful one.
"I wanted to tell you not to try to contact me or find me," She finally said, clasping both her hands in front of her stomach elegantly, a resting posture of a noblewoman. "I'll be the one to contact you when I'm ready."
