Chapter 401 - Postscript (1)

"My youth didn't start until I was 25 years old.

During school, there were endless tests to take and drawings to complete, along with thick workbooks. Movies about youth with their abortions, cheating, car crashes, and dropping out made me doubt I ever had a real adolescence.

Later, I thanked my younger self, grateful for his hard work, so that at 25, I had the confidence to... well, okay, she grabbed my hand and then I told her: 'I will marry you.'

In the pleasant sunshine of April, amidst the drifting willow fluff on the streets, when I turned around, she was standing not far behind me. That was the supposed beginning of love—well, no, I was wrong. To be precise, it was what I thought was the beginning of love.

In truth, love had already existed two years later.

It's a strange thing to say, but indeed, our love had 'early' existed since two years after we'd first met.

But none of that matters. Before meeting her, I think I was only living half a life.
