Diandra was holding Champ hand as she entered Alex office.
Observing that the office was full with his staff, yet no one notice her entry.
Realizing the staff was listening to the radio broadcast, hearing the radio was still playing in the said station.
They all seems to be having some kind of expression. They seems as though they were still absorbing the trend of the story twisted.
Diandra notices some was with a smile on their faces, while others were in tears. 'Who can tell if they were happy for the Young Prince because within that few minutes, I stood there not a word was spoken, if a pin was drop you would have heard it.'
Breaking the silence when she asks, "Can anyone tell me where is Major Alexander Mellford, and who is attending to the few clients out of this office?"
Getting everyone attention as they turn and rushes to their desk and post when Melissa said, "I am sorry Madam, it's just that Boss allows them the time to listen to the broadcast."
"I can understand that madam secretary, but someone should be on guard or position themselves to attend to clients when they come. Your negligence can lose good business."
"You are right Madam and I am very sorry, it will never happen again." Glad that the office was empty so she could get some privacy with Melissa
"When Major Mellford is not in his office who does he leave in charge Madam Secretary?"
"That's my responsibility Ma'am, unless he designates a Senior Sergeant."
"Okay, now tell me where is Alex?"
"Ma'am, he is doing his patrol, let me call to find out his location."

Melissa step forward wanting to know, 'Why she asks her to approach her, and why she is here? Has something happen, she looks so serious, I have never seen this side of her, it was so business like and professional.
It feels scary hearing her demanding to know his whereabouts. Is she aware that his life has been threatened. I should always be on the alert and more careful.
What she said a few minutes ago is right, I never thought about that before, but I must put things in place so I will never be reprimand again.'
Diandra take a step forward and hug her, whispering, "Thank you for looking after him for me, now please call him for me.
I have been calling him since morning and it seem his phone is switch off, I am worried."
"Ma'am I am sure he is alright and he have a Senior Sergeant riding with him, so stop worrying. Now come into his suite and rest while I locate his whereabouts."
Melissa hurried out still shock by her remarks then the change of mood. 'Did she do that mainly for the others to hear or to clear out his office, because it work perfectly.
I don't supposed they know she is the bosses wife?'
Taking a list to each of the secretary asking them to call and see if they could locate Boss whereabouts.
Reaching each desk hearing them ask "Who is that bossy woman?"
Responding to each of them in the same manner, "Never mind her this is more important."
Half an hour later entering the suite seeing she was restless moving to and foe. "Melissa has you heard from him?"
"Yes, Ma'am, please come with me I will take you to him."
Leading the way, recalling the time Boss told her that she had a dreams, and they mostly come true. Did she dream something bad about him and is that why she is here?
I know he said she will be coming up by weekend but today is only Wednesday.'
Glimpsing at her as Officer Collin drive towards the hospital, when she ask, "Melissa where is Alex and where are we going, is he hurt?"
"Ma'am, I don't know all I heard is they came to the hospital, but don't worry we will be there in a few minutes, maybe one of the officers is unwell and he is with them."
"Oh my God," Melissa heard the fear in her voice when she said, "Will you please drive faster,"
"Ma'am, you are fretting up yourself unnecessary."
Melissa notices the big, big drops of sweat seeping down her face, as the blood drains from her face and the color pale a bit. "Ma'am please don't panic."
'But nothing I said seem to be registering,' as the van pulls up at the hospital entrance, she was out and was rushing towards the entrance.
Following right behind her saying, "Ma'am, I will check the receptions area."
But she was running towards Sergeant Gomez who was walking towards the reception desk. Poor Champ was almost being drag of his feet as she rushes along.
Her eyes are very sharp, hearing her ask, "Where is Alex, Sergeant?"
Turning to face the theatre when he steps out. Before the Sergeant could responds she was already hurrying towards Alex.
Looking at Melissa questionably wanting to know, 'How come she was here? When we specifically told them not to reveal to anyone Boss got shot.'
Seeing Melissa covering her mouth in shock, when she said, "Why didn't you inform me that he was shot?"
"You didn't know?"
"How would I know if no one told me, when I called the location, they said you two came to the hospital."
"Then how did his wife know?"
"I cannot answer that, but that woman seems to sense when his life is in danger."
Recalling his words as the doctor attended to him, "He had to make an excuse not to visit her this weekend because she will worry.'
Looking at them as she hug him, they were both in each other arms and the child was hugging her foot.
Not a word was spoken just seeing how they were consoling each other. Sergeant Gomez see when she opens her shoulder bag and take out a long towel and cover his shoulder, so no one will see the bandage in his arm.
