After all that battling and death caused by her greed for something more than her. Nix and Jane got out of the bloody place. Nix was thinking who Jane might be in her life, couldn't pinpoint it. She was lost in her thoughts as Jane started getting another way for her to get home into her body. Jane was a portal ready for her. "Um, excuse me can you tell me who you are now and if I know you please" Nix was asking in a soft voice.
"Here, can you wait a little bit I need to get this portal ready for you as fast as possible" Jane said in a reassuring tone? A few minutes after, Jane finished doing the portal for Nix to go back where she came from. Jane took a step back down from the portal and said to Nix "This portal would show you who I am in your life, and some more things you don't know about yourself" Jane explained.
Nix who was getting herself ready mentally, didn't know Jane would give her a little push. "I'll be staying behind and rebuilding this mess made by my sister, you go on and find a new reason to keep living on, see you again, someday," Jane says confidently. Jane pushed her into the portal.
Inside the Portal
The portal was extremely strong for Nix to behold. The darkness crept in like a slithering snake, making her remember her past. She was a castaway, her family wasn't there to take care of her, to sit beside her to calm her down when she had a bad day. The darkness was so dark that it was starting to consume her on the spot. Nix was trying to subdue the darkness inside her, she had to overcome that past. Suddenly she saw a way of escape, it looked like a door. Out of curiosity she walked towards the door and opened it, the light was so bright it watched away all her sorrow and hatred for her family and the world she was born into. She knew she had to hold onto this light because she needed it to survive and to live in peace and happiness. With a step after another, she walked out of her past and stepped into her light, outside of the portal.
Outside the Portal
"Oh look at you, honey what should her name be," said the beautiful woman with long blue hair. "Well, I think her name should be Nix, meaning undaunted, that she wasn't intimidated or discouraged by difficulty, danger, or disappointment, so what do your think of the name baby girl?" The little girl in her mother's arms smiled at what her new father because of the name given to her. "Mom, dad is that my baby sister, she's so small" another little girl busted inside the room "Jane, shhh or you'll make her uncomfortable" "Ok, what's her name, what's her name" she whispered "Well her name is Nix" Jane nodded her head in approval to the name. "You're my baby sister and I'll protect you" Jane kissed her forehead.
Is this what Jane meant by what she said? Nix thought I think I was pushed inside a baby's body, so this means that I can restart and live a happy life with my new family? Nix was questioning herself and finally concluded to live this life to the best she possibly can. Thank you so much, Jane, for making me a part of your family. She smiled with a little tear dropping from her eye.
