Jake, Holland and Ashe peered over the wide cavern like opening on the ground. It was surrounded by an invisible shield preventing them to jump inside.
"I'm hundred percent sure," Ashe said, "This is the door to Talirante. See it's even written in our maps. Realm Channel."
"What if this takes us to Iamen?" Holland skepticised.
"No problem. What if dad's there?"
"I still can't believe you call him dad," Jake muttered under his breath, remembering the stuff he had seen inside Ashe's head. About her knowing that her dad might actually be a criminal.
She slapped his back, hard. "How many times should I tell you to stop snooping around?"
Jake shrugged. "It's not like there's anything interesting there anyway. Just some statistics, list of shareholders, Darren's hospital bills, unattended phone calls from old friends, a full blown plan to keep the other five safe and a long never ending lamentation of how shitty Adrien is for killing himself.
