Nimin threw a golden spear through the a corrupted monster. A gaping hole that was singed came to sight. Through it Nimin was able to spot another incoming monster. Raising Glint skywards he caused a rain of spears to squash the monster horde.
Turning he pierced Glint through the head of a corrupted monster, finishing off the last of the attackers. Nimin rapidly caught his breath. This sudden wave of monsters threw off far too many of the camps. A lot of players logged out, many under the impression they were free for the rest of the week. It was an entirely unexpected attack.
Many of the expedition camps were wiped out. Nimin had kept close contact with their respective leaders so he could provide assistance at any time. Unfortunately it was simply too much, even with his speed based on golden light he couldn't kill the corrupted creatures fast enough. He couldn't save some of the camps.
