Roan followed by activating his own Elemental Intent Scythe, pointing at Rean. "In any case, I also want to test it."
"Hmph!" Rean didn't step back, bringing his Black Star Sword out. "Go ahead! The White Star died, and it is only natural that its brother, Black Star, follows suit!"
Roan had no such attachment, and he wouldn't hold back even if he had it either. Just like Rean did, he shot forward and used Rean's new Bright Red Lightning Enhancement. It only lasted a second, but the results repeated themselves.

Rean, who also had used everything, still couldn't prevent his Black Star Sword from breaking. Half of the sword fell on the ground, cut at its center. Rean wasn't hit by Roan's attack after that, though. He knew it would happen and was ready to dodge in the end. Roan also knew that, so he didn't insist.
