Watching the aunt hurriedly run past her, Ji Anning suddenly made a decision, turned her head toward Fenfen, and said, "Fenfen, it's raining, shall we take an umbrella to daddy?"
Fenfen nodded, "Okay."
Even though it was just a two-year-old child, that single okay was a huge encouragement to her; she reached out and comfortingly patted Fenfen's little head, "You wait here for mommy for a moment."
With that, she stood up and entered the kitchen.
"Miss Anning, what are you doing?"
Ji Anning had just finished slicing the ginger and was pouring it into boiling cola when the aunt came in, and she casually replied, "I'm making some ginger cola syrup."
"For Mr. Ji?" The aunt leaned closer to Ji Anning, glanced at the pot, and a knowing smile appeared on her kindly face.
"Ah ... um." Ji Anning felt a bit embarrassed, shyly nodding her head, "Yes."
The aunt said, "Then I won't help you."
