Ji Anning shook her head in denial, "No, I didn't."
Trying to force Charles like that was like smashing an egg on a rock, utterly futile.
"Niannian, don't disappoint me." Charles looked at Ji Anning coldly as if to warn her.
"Did you bump into someone you know?"
As Ji Anning opened her mouth to continue pleading with Charles, Ji Mingyue's voice suddenly came from behind her; she looked up at Charles anxiously.
She feared that Charles would reveal their two-month agreement.
"Auntie." Fenfen saw Ji Mingyue and, getting anxious, reached out for Ji Mingyue to hold her.
Ji Mingyue walked over to Ji Anning, her hands holding ice cream, unable to hold Fenfen. She frowned and assessed Charles before turning to Ji Anning and asking, "Who is this man?"
Without waiting for Ji Anning to reply, Charles began to speak with a slight smile, "Miss Ji the fourth?"
His gaze fixed on Ji Mingyue's face, his eyes twinkling with a blue gleam, carrying a hint of inquiry.
