In the Soul Space, Guding stood before a Bronze Gate, the black chains that had previously bound the gate now completely removed.
Guding reached out, and with a creak, the Bronze Gate opened automatically.
This time, there was no blinding white light. Instead, behind the gate hovered a thumb-sized black sphere, suspended in midair. The black sphere was covered with countless, barely visible fine lines, which did not appear to be engraved but seemed naturally formed.
Guding only glanced at it and knew this object was no ordinary thing, for with his current mastery of Dao Patterns, he could not understand the patterns on the sphere at all.
