"Is there a second Miss Yale?" Charles Mcintosh asked with a faint smile.
By the window, he and Lilac Serval stood shoulder to shoulder.
Through the window, one couldn't see much of a view, just the incessant heavy rain pouring down from the sky.
The air was filled with misty vapor, fuzzy and indistinct, making it impossible to see the horizon.
"But as far as I know, Miss Yale isn't coming back to the country, right? If she stays abroad for a lifetime, will this mansion become vacant?" Lilac Serval said.
"That's still Miss Yale's property, and no one else can touch it."
"Charles, there's something I don't understand. Why did Mr. Cheney have dealings with Miss Harry in the first place? If I remember correctly, some even said they had a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. I know it's baseless gossip, just the media making something out of nothing."
