Ann Nolan led Jasmine Yale into the bedroom.

The baby crib was pink and adorned with many cloth dolls.
The room was both quiet and gentle, immediately conveying a sense of pleasure upon entering.
Jasmine bent over, gazing at the Little Princess in the crib.
"Oh my, how adorable," Jasmine couldn't help but reach out and touch her with a finger.
Her chubby cheeks, long eyelashes, so tiny, she was like a little kitten.
Ann said she had been light at birth, smaller than most other children.
Jasmine couldn't take her eyes off the little one on the bed, who was sleeping soundly, not moving an inch, her hair thick, as if carved from jade.
She watched, almost spellbound.
If her own child had lived, would they have looked like this upon birth? Surely they would have been cute, lovely, right?
Who knows if it would have been another Little Princess.
