Going berserk, Greg lashed out multiple range attacks towards Sies, only to be blocked by his effective swordskills. Due to that Greg was then left with no choice but to drop the whole building on top of him and made it so to crush him completely.
However that wasn't enough to deter Sies, as he slashed his way forward, trying to run from the collapsing building and reversing the situation by dropping the whole building on top of Greg instead while he make his escape.
With that he then destroyed all the support columns near Greg, causing the building to become unstable and having everything fall on top of him.
As Sies makes his escape in an open space, the ground suddenly shook violently as it completely disturbed the surroundings. Soon after a giant monster made out of string, towering about 50 meter high, suddenly appeared from beneath the falling building, as it caused a massive uproar towards the surroundings.
At first the command room was confused and alarmed on how the monster could appear in the city, but upon reviewing its life signal, they realized that it was Greg's life signal that was found inside the monster's body. From there they concluded that it must have been Greg's weapon ability that turned him into this.
After all this was the first time they had seen Greg fight like this and based on the report, he was actually fighting against 3 Sentinels for quite some time. Something that even the powerful fighters in the organization had a hard time doing it.
With Greg at its wits end and going all out to the point that his current performance far exceeded than anything her had done before, Greg then became the most valuable fighter in the field in this current moment.
Soon after the string monster that towered everyone then soon burst into flames, as it roared and begun attacking all the nearby enemies in the surroundings.
While some strings attacked Sies, some of them actually attacked the other chaos beast in the area and even the sky whales on the sky. Due to his attack, corpses of the enemy kept raining down from the sky, as each string killed them in one strike.
In that moment the sky whales then regarded Greg as a threat and begun attacking him with their own beam attacks, but before they could even make it fire, Greg would immediately pierce their body with multiple string like tentacles and forcefully detonate them from the inside and dragging along the chaos beast that they haven't deployed yet.
The number of enemy near Greg was dropping like flies, none could even get close to him nor fly over him. Due to him, the number of sky whales in the sky rapidly decreases.
Upon seeing the situation Sies then quickly rushed towards Greg, as he can't afford to let him loose and heavily impact their moving army. The more unit they lose, the more dire their situation may be.
Due to action, Greg immediately noticed Sies rushing towards him, as he quickly turned his attention towards him and begun sending in range attacks towards Sies. Of course Sies cuts down all the strings that got thrown at him. But the next moment he took a step forward, Greg actually threw two buildings at him, with and intent to crush him under.
Sadly that wasn't enough to stop Sies, with that Greg then turned its right arm into a drill as it threw it towards Sies, only to get slashed in half with his own sword skills.
"Ascension sword Nobori ryū"
Once the drill got cut in half, Greg then immediately turned its remaining arm into a huge blade and swung it towards Sies. But the moment he did this, Nueve suddenly jumped out from the nearby tower window beside him, as he delivered a blow that brought Greg crashing towards the ground.
"Empower Strike!!!"
With a straight punch to the jaw, the hugestring monster then fell to the ground, as Ocho suddenly appeared from behind and attacked with her whip that seemed to be infused with her own mana.
"Thorn Blade Whip!!!"
In that moment her whip became as sharp as a blade, as it completely destroyed the string monster from behind and completely hollowing out its chest which exposed Greg's original body protected by his string armor.
In one maneuver Ocho caught Greg with her whip, as she dragged him away before the monster could repair itself, which completely cuts off the monster's mana supply.
With Greg being dragged away, it didn't take long for the string monster to disintegrate, which left Greg fully exposed to the enemy.
After crashing to the ground after getting pulled out, the backlash from that stunt greatly affected Greg as he begun spewing out blood from inside his armor. At the same moment Sies arrived at the scene together with Nueve and Ocho.
"His body's breaking down, the backlash from unleashing that much power from his weapon soul had completely destroyed him from the inside... at this point not only is his soil damaged, but even his weapon is damaged too" said by Nueve
"Well doesn't he deserve it? I mean look at us, we look like wreck... my jacket got destroyed because of him, you old man got your uniform bruised all over, and Sies looked haggard with his hair all messed up" complained by Ocho
"Nevertheless it doesn't change the fact that he did manage to fight against the three of us, albeit close to our level but not enough to make us go all out" said by Sies
Hearing that Greg glared at them, as he endured the pain in his body and turn his body around. After that he leaned on the broken cement, before mustering up more of his ability to attack the three sentinels.
But the moment he did such a thing, his broken mana veins inside his body suddenly stirred which further destroyed his insides. Throughout this battle in order to contend against the enemy, he had pushed his body to its maximum, even potentially burning his soil in order to push his body beyond his own limit.
Unfortunately his potential fell short, because of what he did, by temporarily opening up his genetic lock in order to showcase a power far above what he can naturally give, adding to the fact that he had simultaneously used synchronization with his weapon, such an act burned through his mana and even slowly breaks his own body.
Truth be told each of the enemy's attack was so lethal and so strong that he almost felt like passing out in just one strike, however due to his body being pushed to their maximum, he had disregarded such pain and continued on.
Now that his synchronization is slowly becoming undone, and his body losing its adrenaline and breaking down, all the pain that he was supposed to feel earlier on finally caught up to him causing him to bleed all over.
He was exhausted, he was not young anymore, he was afraid of dying. That was the reason why he quit being an agent even though it was too early to retire, he was both brave and a coward.
Never did he expect that throughout his life of avoiding death, he would end up in this situation. No matter less even though he was afraid of dying, he was somehow glad that Arthur and the rest of the young ones managed to escape. Even if it cost his life, he will sacrifice himself till the end.
"You bastards... this isn't the end yet... its not over... if your already having trouble dealing with me, how would you manage to handle those little monsters later... hahaha... this war is far from over... we will win"

"Death is inevitable in a war, never less stand proud, you've manage to pin the three of us down on your own... your strong" said by Nueve

As Greg said that, he then gathered the last bit of mana he could gather as he used his flames and strings to fight back and lit up his final spark. In response se to this all three sentinels moved simultaneously as they were wary that Greg would once again used that troublesome transformation.

In that very moment rain drops fell from the sky, as rain heavily pours down on the burning city that was filled with dirt and blood.
Amidst the ruined street where a battle once had taken place, a body of a man in his thirties lay bare with lifeless eyes and a hole in its chest, while leaning of a broken cement wall.
Weakly breathing beside him, a small red car lay wounded all over, as it's eyes were all bloodied from the battle itself.
Weakly carrassing the dying red cat, the man then spoke a few parting words even when his body is dying.
"The... future... I'll leave it... to you"
With those final words the man breath his last, as red strings disappeared and the cat disintegrating into nothingness. There was no sound nor life on that ruined street, the only thing one could hear was the sound of death as one of the veteran agents of the organization had died fighting for his home planet.
