Chapter 49 - Discussions before Persona

Returning back to the others was a different pace. Azul had enjoyed the time with Lluvia. They talked nonstop and became more comfortable with each other again. Worry and stress but the future promise of her not having to stay away from the best. She lacked control, but Azul developed enough to feel the pain.

The Avatar Captain maldova could not handle the power without leveling up more. Which was the reason she two did not make herself available to him. But that changed while he was in Warhammer.

A small discussion broke out before Azul was heading to Mileuda.

They were talking at an older section of the Nether World. Sitting on the porch. Azul and Galatea were talking heatedly.

The dispute was about Tyrion from Warhammer Fantasy. AzuI absolutely loved using the Elf, in his army when he played. His back story was great. Then the End Times happened. Like his brother, he was turned completely into something else. The Avatar of Khaine.

"You are getting too serious about this!" Galatea yelled at him. "Your personal feelings of the man should not get in the way of your decision to help. In fact even more so with both Ciela and Techlis already there."

"Yeah yeah, I heard you earlier. Stop yelling already." Azul said calmly to her. A finger in his ear from the damage she caused."It is my choice, not yours."

"Bwoom." A Rift opened. Out of the Rift, Techlis and Ciela walked through.

Azul had not seen either of them in a long time and didn't really mind it to much. Lettie made sure of that in the background with his help. He knew Ciela was safe and that was enough. Techlis did well by her, so no real problems so far.

Tyrion stared with hatred at his brother. With the help of the System, he used his points to find out everything that happened and why. He was calm for the most part other than that. Still, his emotions were raw at the sight of him. The betrayal felt fresh and new.

"I did what I thought was right," Techlis said to his brother. He turned to stare at Azul. A hint of sadness on his face passed before turning neutral. "I can't change what I have done. But I can move forward."

"No, we can. We have already started to." Ciela said comforting her husband. "We are back way before any of it happens. With brother's help..."

"No." Azul answered. "Tyrion can go to help and any others that want to. But I am not going there anytime soon and that is final. Your daughter is not going there either Tyrion. She will grow up far away from that World. If you try to take her there, I will kill you and those involved. Do you understand me?" Azul leaned on the table as he stared out for any disapproval. 'I am not heading to places like that till I have better of Contol as an Everchosen of Chaos."

"I.. understand." Techlis uttered.

"Then can I.. I wish to bring the Everqueen away from there. But she plays such a vital role, I do not know how to." Tyrion answered.

"Talk with Zelda and Alita. They can help you in that department. You daughter had one shitty life there. It will not happen again." Azul watched as the man walked off. "No reason they both don't deserve happiness now."

"You could do a lot there." Ciela said. Azul shook his head no causing her to pout a little. 'haaa I should have spent more time with him. It feels like we are almost strangers. Maybe Lettie can give me some insight?'

"Anybody, help me out here!" Galtea said to the others.

"What do you think?" Maldova/Lluviva asked Kat who just shrugged. "No help from you. What about you Chari?"

"Oh no, I am staying out of it." Chari waved them off. "I just got back from Super Robot Taisen and I rather keep the level of intimacy high still. Let Natarle convince him. Talk later Azul!" She got up and left in a Rift. "I am gonna go and help with the relief efforts and rebuilding."

"Ok." Azul mumbled. The memories from there needed to be digested still. "We did a lot better, but still more to do. Hmm, Natarle needs a few more supplies." Looking things over, Azul typed away reassigning troops.

"I told him already to let it go," Galtea said sounding defeated. "He is stubborn as you have seen and won't change his mind easily."

"My Khan maybe you should let it go as well?" Skarlet said. Coming out of his pores and looking slightly tired. Seeing her move the sme as Mileena was troubling a little but he put it away. She was eating seeds and spitting them into a bucket. "He did help you fight against the Tyrannids. If he is willing to fight by your side, I do not see a reason to not allow him additional help. Your direct help."

"Yeah, yeah." Azul muttered.

Skarlett shrugged and went back to eating.

AzuI stepped off the porch and was getting ready to walk around the Nether World a bit. A simple thing until Mileena sent word that she was ready for him.

"Stop!" Tifa said placing her hand on his shoulder. Azul tilted his head to the side and waited for her to speak. His Dragon power started rising for some reason. "This needs to be solved now!" She yelled. The Chaos Emerald floating above her head dangerously. "Your thoughts.. concerning me and my World.."

"Oh, the Pull that came through." Maldova/Lluvia said. "He came late but still, it is not like he can hurt anyone. He is currently in lock up."

"The Guy Sephiroth right? Big bad in her World." Rikku said. She was quiet for the most part but chimed in about this. "But he is from the newer version of your World. Which is really something else. You plan on going there? No one has it yet." She looked at the screen and flipped towards her.

"I.. do not.. know." Tifa had known about it for a while, but had put in the back of her mind. The Chaos Emerald pulsed stronger above her. "I just need some time."

"It will be fine. I haven't decided what I wanted to do with him yet." Azul started to walk again but her grip tightened on him. "Let go, you are starting to piss me off Tifa."

"Stop acting like an asshole then!" AzuI pushed her off with his biotics. Softly considering how charged up they both were.

Tifa only moved slightly then Azul felt it. "Smack!" She gave him a resounding smack across the face. "You are acting like Cloud! Just tell me straight! Do you plan on using him!?" Her Pather power flooded out amplified by the Chaos Emerald.

That did it. His Dragon and Devil power synced up as anger boiled over. AzuI took a few steps back to get some distance between them. That did not help.

"Grrr!" Azul growled and changed to his Laguz form. The energy sending shockwaves out. Galtea placed a barrier in front protecting everyone. Maldova/Lluvia shifted the two a large distance away.

"You compare me to.. to that thing!" AzuI didnt mind having been called an asshole. There was truth in that. But to be compared to that whelpling! That was something he couldn't tolerate.

Skarlett transformed into a Blood Devil opposite of him. She stared Azul down. "Stop my Khan! You dont want to do this! I can feel the intent to kill coming off you!" She was the most intuned with Azul's bloodlust. Complements of always staying under his skin. Literally at that.

"Grrr!" AzuI just growled at her. He turned and looked at the rest on the porch. Out of the blue, another Dragon jumped out. It was Jaina. "You have done a lot in your World. What dragon is that?" She shook her head not willing to say. It was not Maylgos but a Blue Dragon none the less. Her posture was that of a challenge.

"What the hell is wrong with you!?" Jaina glared at him causing Azul's blood to rise. She was challenging him alright. "You need to calm down. You s well Tifa!" She turned to chastise the girl.

"No! it is between us! Stay out of it!" Tifa's body shifted as she swallowed the Chaos Emerald. Her body grew in height as she turned into a dragon. She looked like Bahamut but slightly sleeker. Under her eyes were white streaks. "I will fight you today! Do you accept.. Master?" Water whipped around her as her understanding in the Lin Kuei technique had grown greatly in Dynasty Warriors.

"You challenge me! In my own Nether World?!" Even Azul's Pather power felt wronged. Slowly it leaked out causing his anger to get under control. It didnt try to get rid of it. Just made sure he didnt misuse it. 'Hmm, I have control. But so does she. Am I missing something?'

"Yes!" Tifa jumped forward at him. Azul didnt move away. Instead, he went to a crouch and pounced. Mouthing opening as he used an attack.

"Bah!" Sending a concussive shot at her chest. The recoil caused him to backflip. 'Way more powerful than it should have been!'

"Whimper," Tifa took the blow without any real defense. But it was not her as the smoke cleared. AzuI saw her change back immediately to a humanoid state. It was Kasumi!

"What the hell were you thinking?!" AzuI said as he already started healing her with magic. Pather power washed over her telling everything he needed to know. She wanted to see if he would kill her after the fact. "Stupid girl!" Allways testing and teasing people.

"Heh, gotcha looking worried about me though!" Kasumi reached out and grabbed his muzzle. "Glad you didnt lose control. Probably could do this in a better way. But had to show them you were in control. Dont be mad at me, blame Alita. Can not believe you did this again. But at least it was not Jaina this time." She leaned in as Azul returned to normal. 'She is just scared is all. You might have changed in ways we do not know yet.'

'Way to throw me under the bus.' Alita thought to Azul directly. 'A very big bus at that.'

Reaching out AzuI focus his Pather power to make sure she was healed completely. Besides a broken collarbone that was injured previously, she was in top health. A few cuts and tears in muscles that were healing still. Kasumi was taking risks for some reason.

"Do not do that again," AzuI told her. "You will though.. ah well." Kasumi was happy enough from what the Biotic Strands were telling him. A smll bit of doubt from what she read about the Chaos Gods but something she would get over.

"Hup," Kasumi hopped up and smiled. "No promises. I want to take you for a ride later." Realizing what she said, flustered she corrected herself. "Not in that way. Like you were a horse. Is that rude mr. Dragon?"

"No. We can find time to do that later." AzuI turned and walked until he felt a blast hit his shoulder. "Are .. you serious?" Tifa shot him. "You wanted a fight that badly?"

"Yes. This Chaos emerald is something else. I need to Master it. You are the best to fight to do that." Tifa's eyes glowed dangerously. Around her body white power shined out. "I do not want Dark Cosmos Power. Regular is fine by me!"

"Sching!" White silver gloves formed on her hands. Her fist shot sending dolphins composed of water. At least a hundred at first count.

With a wave of his hand, AzuI sent a shockwave at her. It blasted the dolphins apart with ease. It was stopped by Maldova/Lluvia.

"So I get slapped and it's ok. Then shot its ok. But she gets to do all this!?" AzuI just wanted to go relax and enjoy time a little bit. Was that asking too much?

"You would have seriously hurt her just then." Maldova/Lluvia said seriously. "You are stronger here than out there remember. As well the fact you are not in full control of that power." She pointed at his hands showing the Black Surplice armor.

"I am in control that's why I was walking away before I lost it." Azul shrugged and receded the armor.

"Azul fight me! Martial Artist to Martial Artist" Tifa said. Then Azul felt it. She was upset about how he was carrying himself. Insulted about the way he conducted the battle. The fact she was not called to join the fight there. Made she was not first to receive a Chaos Weapon from him. Despite the fact he was not the one that decided where they go. She felt Azul did her injustice. Treating her like Cloud did to her. 'Well shit.'

Covering herself in magic, she was ready to fight. Seeing Azul not making a move pissed her off. She raised her hand and several ice projectiles fired off. Not dodging, AzuI took each one.

"Ting! Ting!" Two large waves as she ran up.

They hurt. Quite powerful but not the worse AzuI ever felt. Raising her hands she summoned a giant Ice Storm that solely focused on him. It turned into a fist and came down like a Meteor.

"Biotic Shielding," AzuI said. As he felt he built enough energy for a stronger version. The icicles rained down and pierced the shields. As he looked at them before focusing a little biotic energy, Tifa was right in front with a punch towards his side.

Flinging them away, the shield closed back up.

"Lift!" The biotic energy lifted Tifa away into the air. She kicked in the air causing the water to grab her and pull her away. "You have done a lot of fighting. But the reason for it.."

"Splash!" The ice and snow was instantly melted and turned to water. It pushed down wrapping Azul up.

AzuI looked over to see Tifa had summoned her Aeon. "Oh, use the Aeon that was meant to protect you on me. How freaking great. Yah know, there is a name for woman like you!" The large serpent looked insulted as it wrapped around Tifa.

She had her hands over the mouth and pried it open. The combined energy mixed magic and psyker power would be devastating. Not counting the Chaos energy turned Cosmo power.

"Have you lost your mind?!" AzuI yelled at her. She didn't respond as the beam fired out.

"I am not weak!" Tifa roared. The large beamed fired looking like Armageddon.

Redirecting his energies completely forward, AzuI took the blow. He didnt know how much of his Nether World had developed behind in that direction. "You idiot!"

As he held the energy back, he latched on absorbing the power. Powering a Concussive Shot, he fired it from above.

"Boom!" The beam stopped as I looked to see Tifa was fine behind a magical shield. The Aeon retraced as she mumbled a spell. Another Ice storm started, but this time it was bathed in psychic energy.

As the storm rained down. AzuI ran through the shards and arrived by Tifa. She was waiting for him. AzuI saw the symbol on the ground and watch to his horror as she used the Geyser spell. As the torrent of water came up, AzuI rode the water. Using his own runic magic, he healed.

While in the air Azul cast a Water Rain. Several thin needles rained down heading right for her. 'Adrenaline Rush. Cycle Up, Dash.' Using them each AzuI ran down the air using the droplets of water for footholds. He caught Tifa in the middle of a spell. Right before it formed, he head-butted her.

"Ugh," She groaned as she lost her footing. "I knew you would do that!" Instantly a power instantly cut across his chest. It created a large gash that spred like a spiders web. The level of destruction was small. But very problematic. "How do you like my Counter!" It was not a question as she started punching furiously. "Ahhhhh!"

Health -73

"Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!" In seconds the punches were in the later 100's. Tifa paused to catch her breath. That was her mistake.

"Overlord's Fury!" AzuI said with a force that welled up from inside. Giant Devil hands formed around his shoulders. The forearm bent down the back for protection. To the side, Vegnagun formed up. Already charged and ready to fire.

"Azul, stop!" Maldova Lluvia said. Sparing her a glance, he started to stop the attack.

"Raaahh!" Tifa howled as she channeled the all her power at once. The armor around the glove spread to her elbows.

'So this is what my Laguz blood was reacting towards.' Standing there, AzuI watched as she snarled at him. That is when he noticed it. She was not in control of it. Something crept inside her making her attack like this.

"Mental Cleansing," AzuI focused on her and watched as her intelligence returned. Seeing her calm down, he thought it was over. "Aww crap." His hackles started to rise, so he cast the shield once again.

"Ping," it was instantly broken as several fists pierced the ground and stabbed him. The left fist focused on his chest. The right one in his stomach.

"Kuff!" Tifa coughed up blood as she used to much power. Especially with her not in control of it all. "I will not lose!" She cried out as her power flared up higher. The number of punches increased creating a bling light. Engulfing both of them.

System: Willpower Check 53 Pass Damage reduced

"Ahh that was something." Azul sighed. Needless to say, his Devil was pissed. But the Dragon was quite happy. "Heal, Cure, Regen." AzuI cast one after the other. Swinging Overlord's Fury down, he watched as her body went limp.

"Bam, thump!" The armor receded as she was almost naked.

"Why didn't you take me with you if you knew it would be so dangerous?" Tifa's arm was covering her eyes. "If you knew it would get so dangerous, you should have called all of us. Despite what we were doing..." She shook a little. "We would have come over and helped. The Necron's.. would have been a good way to train. Then the Daemons. Fighting in the Warp by yourself to get to Tiffany was stupid. I have the Pather power to! I could have helped more than she could! Maybe then this would not have happened.

"I did it to protect some of you. I mean, sometimes swiping out the enemy is better than putting everyone through that type of battle." Azul sat next to her in the grass as the area restored itself. "I didnt think about it at that point. Just wanted it to end after thinking about the danger of what could go wrong. Denial also played a part. I just thought you would have understood that." AzuI started to reach out to heal her. He stopped when the biotic strand left. The anger was something else.

"Tch!" Tifa sulked.

"Yah know what.. this...this is .. more trouble than its worth. I won't coddle you anymore. I thought 10 different ways to help you get through what happened to you if something popped up. I gave you the autonomy that I thought you would excel in to go to World's. I gave you space as needed. I dont know what else to do Tifa. Talk to me!"

"There isn't anything to say." Tifa turned away from him. She sat up and equipped some clothes. "Maybe I was wrong.." Azul could feel a weird gnawing motion in the pit of his stomach.

He didnt want to keep her just because he liked her as a character. It was the same problem he ran into with Jaina before.

"Ha.." AzuI let out a sigh that felt just right. "I won't keep you just because I like you. I won't send Sephiroth away just because you do not like him. I have use of him for when I go to do... darker missions. No matter how much I want to." As he opened up the interface and looked at the option to send Tifa away, a strange thing occurred. 'Why is the bond with her getting stronger?'

"Stop!" Tifa pushed him down onto the ground. She was extremely heavy. "Do not do it." She sat up and stared down at him. "Just leave it for now. Please." Her eyes containing some different messages. But something kept her from speaking any of them. "I was just angry! I went to Dynasty Warriors to learn how to lead armies. You need those more than anything!"

"Alright." AzuI moved the interface away and looked her over. "Nothing like this again ok?" She remained silent. "Ok!?"

"Alright jeez." Tifa punched him in the arm somewhat playfully. but it still hurt. "But you can not leave me behind on the really dangerous one's anymore. I want to be right there at your side."

"Hmm ok. But what if.."

"Nope. No what if.'s" She put her finger to his mouth to stop him. "If it is not one that is designed for a solo or , I get to come with if it gets dangerous." Azul nodded lightly. "Good. I need to train more, I need to still get stronger. Where to go?"

"I know of one, come on." Azul seperated and shifted Tifa away. "I will explain it in detail. It is called Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic."

"Are you feeling better?" Maldova/Lluvia asked. She was asking Jaina who looked on in intrest.

"Yes. A lot better than what happened to me. I will talk to her later to make sure." Jaina rubbed her wrist in pain. "This will take longer to get use to it. Can you send anyone who is not bust to come and help me? I want to solidify some things in my World. especially before I give Azul something."
