"So, do the judges have any words of encouragement for our courageous challengers today?" The announcer asked as he and the crowd waited patiently for a response.
"While it may be generic, regardless of what happens today within the cage, you guys are all winners in our eyes, and we are glad you chose to attend our school! So, give it your all, and I hope to see some exciting fights today!" The Vice President smiled as he glanced at Olivia before turning his head toward Felicia.
"... just have fun and please don't kill anybody by accident as I have enough on my plate already," Felicia said with a yawn as she briefly gazed at her troublemaker of a cousin, "Oh, and go Forbidden!"
"Um, well, that was disappointing… hopefully, our President could uplift the mood," The announcer said with an awkward laugh.
"Sorry to disappoint, but I think it'd be better if we began the reselection, so with that, let us begin," The President said as she stood up and clapped her hands, commencing the start of the reselection, an event that will last two days or shorter.
"Well, you heard the lady, so could the first round of contestants step up to fight against Rin Kurama, Wendell Stone, Ghost, Ethan Davis, and Maze Kurama!" The announcer said as the first set of challengers entered the cage.
"Hmm, well, what do we have here?" Rin muttered as he stood up with a yawn and stretched for a bit before looking at the courageous soul who dared to challenge him.
"Just a curious bystander who wanted to test his luck," Isaac said as he gazed at Rin and tried to look for an opening in his defense, yet he couldn't see any.
'Truly, just what is this guy made of?' He thought as he kissed his teeth before taking a deep breath and locking in for the upcoming fight.
"Now this was unexpected, however, something tells me your intentions aren't as innocent as they may seem, Isaac," Rin said with vigilance as he inspected Isaac.
"Sigh, just what is it with people always trying to figure me out and placing me in an imaginary box of their own creations?! Just why can't you all realize that I can't be shackled by common sense," he said with anger as a burst of energy erupted from his body.
While a pair of golden khopesh swords appeared in his hands as sand swirled around him and coated his entire body in a protective yet flexible body armor.
"Bro, just what are you talking about?" Rin asked with confusion as he summoned Scarlet and blocked Isaac's charge.
Swoosh! Clang!
"Stop playing games and just fight me!" Isaac exclaimed with aggression like a ferocious beast as he gave up on defense and went full offense.
"If you say so, pal, just remember you asked for this, Isaac," Rin replied as he began to take the fight a little more seriously as he and Isaac traded a hundred attacks in a matter of seconds.
While moving around the cage like two shooting stars to the point where only the sound of their weapons clashing could he heard throughout the arena as craters were left behind in the wake of their battle.
Considering some of the audience members couldn't keep up with their movements, yet they were able to perceive the destruction of their attacks.
"Ladies and gentlemen, it would seem we have our first fight of the day! And what a way to start, however, this is only the beginning, so who do you all think will be the winner? Will it be the infamous Otaku of the Kurama Clan or Issac, the concealed serpent waiting for a chance to shine? Only time will tell," The announcer smiled underneath his mask as he and the crowd watched Rin and Issac exchange attacks.

Meanwhile, as Rin and Isaac went at it like two men fighting over a girl...
The other candidates were also beginning to face off against their opponents within the nearby cages as cameras flew around the arena, trying to capture everything.
So those at home would have a perfect view of what was going on at Forbidden Blood on this lovely yet exhilarating Friday.
"So shall we start?" Maze asked with boredom as she gazed at the girl across from her, who was focused on Rin's and Isaac's fight.
"Oh, sorry about that." She said with embarrassment before flashing me a smile as she stretched out her hand, "I did realize you were ready to begin, and I'm Sarah, by the way!"
"Sigh, it's nice to meet you, Sarah, and I'm Maze, if you didn't already know," I said with a smile as I shook Sarah's hand before instantly teleporting away as purplish gas began to emit from her body.
"Nice reaction, however, while impressive, I can't see why you're such a big deal on the Black Web, Maze Kurama? Or should I say, 'The Twisted Saintess of Destiny'?" Sarah chuckled as she took out a pair of bloodstained white thorned whips from her spatial ring.
"You'll never know unless you fight me, so could you please indulge me with a dance, Sarah?"
"I'd love to Maze," She grinned menacingly before zooming toward Maze like a tornado as electricity gathered around her whips.
While Maze just shook her head and summoned her weapon, which was a pair of crimson metallic guns that briefly glowed with a whitish light. Before transforming into a sword and shield that were inscribed with runic glyphs that resembled crosses made of jagged shapes.
'This should do the job,' Maze thought as she glanced at the approaching tornado of lightning and sheathed her sword while the shield in her hand began to hum as she infused energy into it.
"3... 2... 1... 0!" Maze muttered as she slammed her shield into the ground and whispered, "earthquake," just as Sarah was about a meter away from her.
Causing the entire cage to tremble as the floor cracked and shattered, following the release of a wave of energy that erupted from the shield. Yet, just before the crowd could process what occurred, Maze swiftly unsheathed her sword in a one swift motion and threw it at Sarah.
After slamming her shield into the ground, which forced Sarah to pause and cancel her attack as she redirected the built-up electricity in her whips into her body. Which was then infused into the ground beneath her to block Maze's first attack.
Just as the whips in her hand elongated and revolved around her like a shield to block the incoming flying sword. That was deflected and fell to the ground with a ding as Maze just smiled and disappeared simultaneously as dust filled the cage.
BOOM! CRACK! SWOOSH! BUZZ!
"Shit! Just what is that girl on... is she trying to kill me?" Sarah wondered as she tried to catch her breath, before suddenly freezing as a hand grasped her shoulder while a needle pricked her throat.
"Give up," Maze whispered into Sarah's ear seductively as she blushed and fell to the ground in defeat.
While her mind went haywire as dirty thoughts swirled in her head, which caused her to envision sexual scenarios instead of ways to improve herself.
But that is beside the point, so let's return to the initial fight at hand between Rin and Isaac, as the first fight of the day was completed...
