Davis remained silent while Lucian tried to explain himself.
On the day when the maids were brought to the mansion, his children were explicitly told not to harass them in any form, and the sons were warned not to have physical relations with them.
Azariel seemed to have managed to obey it, but on the other hand, Lucian didn't.
To Davis, it was quite surprising since Lucian wasn't the type to disobey or go against something his parents would not like. For him to have favored the maid, he wondered how he had fallen or if she had purposefully seduced him.
He had even brought his sword out, although he immediately put it down.
Davis wasn't surprised by that since Lucian was soft but highly protective. Nonetheless, he didn't drop his cold expression, nor did he take light of this situation.
He cast a gaze at the maid.
