My Hasteball Odyssey

Nation – Vaelora, a fast-rising island nation obsessed with speed, strength, and honor. After decades of internal conflict, Hasteball was created to unite the youth through competition and resolve. --- The Sport: Hasteball Objective: Score more points than the opposing team by throwing the ball into small, semi-circle shaped goal posts. Match Duration: 60 minutes (2 halves, 30 minutes each). Field: Rectangular grassy pitch, marked at the halfway line. Team Setup: 5 active players 3 substitutes 1 coach and 1 captain (identified by a colored wristband) Start: Coin toss. Defensive player begins play from their goal line. Passing: Hand passes and throws only. Legs can’t touch the ball. Scoring: Each goal = 1 point. Fouls: Touching the ball in another player’s hand: forced drop or foul. Physical contact (grabbing/hitting): foul and 1-point deduction. Serious fouls: point deducted + free run awarded. Equipment: Team jersey, shorts, long socks, knee pads, sleeves, face guard, colored captain wristband. --- Positions (Unique to Hasteball): 1. Blitzer – The fastest player. Specializes in breakaways and counterattacks. Starts plays after interceptions. 2. Anchor – The defensive wall. Guards the goal area and initiates resets. 3. Threader – Playmaker. Reads the field and creates pass paths—must have elite reflexes. 4. Pulse – The stamina core. Covers the most ground, links defense to offense. 5. Shockline – Aggressive scorer. Handles direct shots on goal, specializes in dodging and scoring under pressure. --- Main Characters: 1. MC – Kael Drayden Team: Valkyris Haste Academy Position: Shockline A violent genius with unmatched agility and an obsession with becoming the "Fastest to Score." He plays recklessly, often clashing with teammates and coaches. He views Hasteball not just as a sport—but as war. Driven by the thrill of outpacing everyone, he constantly challenges tradition. 2. Deuteragonist – Mizu Taiyo Team: Valkyris Haste Academy Position: Threader Calm, smart, and underestimated. He has quick reflexes, a strategic mind, and often plays the role of a glue guy. Though not physically imposing, he can outthink almost any opponent and is Kael’s emotional anchor—and eventual best friend.
