They always said the world would end in fire, or ice, or maybe some virus cooked up in a lab. Turns out, it was a rock. A really, really big rock. Figures. But what they hadn't anticipated was... Zero hour wasn't the end. It was only the prologue — the beginning of something new. --- Lior had known one thing all along — the world was done for good. Complete disappearance? Just a matter of when. And on his twenty-second birthday, it happened. A broadcast flooded every screen — a meteor three times the size of Earth hurtling toward them. Less than twenty-four hours before everything ended. No escape. No survival. Just the final punctuation mark on humanity's death sentence. Watching the chaos unfold, Lior shrugged. "Well, at least I'll have time to eat my birthday cake." Immediately, the ground trembled, harder this time. He sighed. "Maybe not." But then... something bizarre happened. A massive pillar of light descended from the sky, crashing into the heart of the chaos. A tower? A cold, emotionless voice echoed across the world: "Attention, surviving inhabitants of Earth. The planet is scheduled for termination." No sentiment. No comfort. Just a single command... "Ascend to the top floor. Secure your survival." A sliver of hope for a dying world — a race teetering on the brink of extinction. Lior smirked. "Fine. Let's take the risk. There's no other way anyway." And just like Hamelin’s flute, the tower pulled him inside. "Welcome to the world of Ascension." "Activating Survival Protocol." "Your quest begins now." --- Fantasy adventure lovers — welcome on board! First of all, the MC isn't OP. He'll make mistakes; he'll act sometimes smart and sometimes, well — utterly ridiculous! He'll build himself gradually — from scratch. It'll be a multiple-leads story; I'll introduce them one by one to not overwhelm you with too many characters from the start.
